    How to handle initial service?<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Exterior:\n
        \n
      • Inspect for carpenter bee nesting areas. Look for sawdust, carpenter bee holes and yellow residue from bee pollen and excrement<\/li>\n
      • Apply Delta Dust to voids or channels\/holes in damaged wood. Also apply in between wood and structure of house<\/li>\n
      • Use Gotcha extension pole or ladder for harder to reach places<\/li>\n
      • Apply Temprid FX directly into carpenter bee holes.<\/li>\n
      • For large affected areas can do a residual spray treatment using Talstar P or Temprid FX. Spray liberally into hiding and breeding places, especially under attic rafters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Why do we use those products?<\/h2>\n
          \n
        • Delta Dust is very effective for a targeted treatment in existing carpenter bee channels\/holes<\/li>\n
        • Temprid FX is effective for treatment in a broader area than just the carpenter bee channels\/holes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          What to communicate to client?<\/h2>\n
            \n
          • Explain that you treated using a residual product. In other words, this will take some time to work<\/li>\n
          • Treatment will work for at least 3-4 weeks. During the time of treatment as the carpenter bees are flying into the galleries, they will pick up the treatment and that will eliminate them<\/li>\n
          • Our office will follow up with you in two weeks to check the progress of the treatment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            How to handle follow ups?<\/h2>\n
              \n
            • Inspect and spot treat as necessary<\/li>\n
            • When there\u2019s no activity, retreat exterior preventively in order to reduce callbacks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              What to document?<\/h2>\n
                \n
              • Document level of activity on initial service<\/li>\n
              • Document any treated areas and method of treatment<\/li>\n
              • Evidence of live activity on follow up<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                • For single family homes we provide either 30-day special or Protection Plan (quarterly)<\/li>\n
                • The initial service for the Protection Plan always includes:\n

                  • Perimeter application<\/li>\n
