• Talstar P for mosquitoes
• Talstar PL Granular for ticks

How to handle initial service?

• Inspect the yard for conducive conditions i.e. standing or stagnant water
• Treat mosquito harborage areas using Talstar P incl. shaded areas, foliage, shrubs and areas with little air movement (soffits and under eaves)
• Ideal target area for mosquitoes is the bottom 20ft of trees
• Broadly use Talstar PL Granular for ticks on lawn

Why do we use these products?

• Talstar has a quick knockdown for mosquitoes and can be used in misters
• Granular is ideal for lawn applications

What to communicate to client?

• Keep grass short
• Trim excess vegetations
• Remove all standing water
• Treatment is not an elimination but a reduction in activity
• Recommend sprinklers remain off until product is dry

What to document?

• Document any conducive conditions that could affect treatment effectiveness
